Albourne family-dancing and pompoms

28th April 2020

We had 11 children today and we have really worn them out!

We have had a morning of Dance to celebrate International Dance Day (which is tomorrow).  Mrs Atkins took each Key Stage separately to learn a dance to ‘I’m still standing’ by Elton John.  Both groups did brilliantly and were full of enthusiasm.  Key Stage 2 learnt the whole dance, while Key Stage 1 just did the chorus plus the air guitar section!  At the end of the morning we all got together and performed to each other.   This was a go noodle dance.

The children learnt to make pom poms – which they really enjoyed.

It has been a wet day but in the afternoon they managed to get out for some Forest School action.
