Children in need - spots and skipathons!
18th November 2016
Our School Council members organised a 'spotty' day to raise money for children in need across the UK. They invited everyone to wear one spotty item of clothing in return for a donation. It was a colourful sight to see spots on scarves, t-shirts, dresses and even flamenco skirts!
The School council also organised a 'skipathon' , each class skipping for as long as they could to find the best skipper in their class. A skip-off was the final event of the day, where we watched the three winners from KS1 then from KS2 compete against each other - what a great way to keep fit, enjoy some fun and raise money for others at the same time!
