Harvest Thanksgiving

11th October 2018
Albourne celebrated Harvest with a thanksgiving service at St Bartholomew's Church.  Children shared a poem that used the letters of HARVEST to spell out HAVE, STARVE and SHARE alongside other words that celebrated the gifts that God has given us.
All our families have been so generous donating gifts that have been collected by Fareshare, a local charity that distributes goods to food banks for people who are struggling to feed their families.
Robins class have found out about how seeds grow, and shared their ideas as part of their Harvest presentation to parents and grandparents.
