Boccia skills

28th January 2019
A team of children from Albourne had an interesting sporting experience today.  Alongside other locality schools, they learned the skills of Boccia, which is a game that originated as a wheelchair sport, and is similar to bocce, or bowls.  The children also had a go at some curling skills.
The children attending reported that 'It was great fun!,    'It was good to meet children from other schools,'  and 'I enjoyed learning some new skills'.
It is good to hear that the children represented the school well, both in terms of sportsmanship and also in their exemplary behaviour.
