Personal, Social and Health Education

PSHE at Albourne
At our school PSHE including Relationships and Health Education is a very important part of the whole curriculum.
We have adopted "Jigsaw- the mindful approach to PSHE" to deliver the learning.
"PSHE is a planned programme through which children develop the knowledge, skills and understanding they need to manage their lives. As part of a whole school approach PSHE develops the qualities and attributes pupils need to thrive as individuals, family members and members of society." Jigsaw 2019.
We are confident that the Jigsaw Programme covers all aspects of Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE) within the context of a full PSHE programme in an age-appropriate way. Should changes to these curriculum areas occur in the future, Jigsaw will provide its schools with materials to ensure all statutory duties are fulfilled.
